On October 29 at the Hakuo International Hall on our campus, the Japan-U.S. Information and Communications Media Forum 2022 "Post-5G Pioneers Future Society! -Aiming for New Collaboration with Local Communities" was held at Hakuo International Hall on our campus.

Dr. David Rasner, President of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, our partner universities, Mr. Jun Murai, known as the "Father of the Internet," and other experts from Japan and abroad explained 5G technology and the changes it will bring about in society.

During the panel discussion in the latter half of the session, each presentation was further elaborated with a question-and-answer session with the audience.

本キャンパス白鴎国際ホールで10月29日、日米情報通信メディアフォーラム2022「ポスト５Gが拓く未来社会！～地域との新たな連携を目指して～」を開催しました。

本学の協定校であるハワイ大学のデイビット・ラズナー総長、「インターネットの父」として知られる村井純氏をはじめ、国内外の有識者が５Gテクノロジーとそれがもたらす社会の変化等について解説しました。

後半のパネルディスカッションでは、来場者との質疑応答も交えながら各発表内容がさらに掘り下げられました。
