SIPS, the second initiative led by the study abroad promotion campaign "TOBITATE! JAPAN“, has been launched by MEXT. The purpose of this project is to raise awareness of study abroad program among university and high school students, provide opportunities to study abroad, and strengthen networks among school systems around the world.

At Hakuoh University, 40 students’ members of SIPS have formed team’s dedicated to different ongoing projects. These projects included programs and events related to international exchange and study abroad, as well as public relations activities.
In spite of the restrictions on various activities due to COVID-19, Hakuoh’s SIPS members are uniting and starting to work together.
From now on, Hakuoh will continue to look at how we should be as a team through weekly group meetings, focusing on such themes as "creating better proposals," "setting goals and objectives," "building relationships with others," and "listening skills”.

白鷗大学でSIPS（Staff ＆ student Initiative for Promoting Study abroad）の第2期メンバーが決定しました。
留学促進キャンペーン「トビタテ!留学JAPAN」が主導する新たな取り組み「SIPS」が文部科学省によって立ち上げられました。本プロジェクトは、大学生、高校生を対象にした留学啓発や、海外での学びの機会を提供、ネットワーク強化が目的とされております。
本学においては、40名の学生メンバーがプロジェクトごとにチームを作り、チーム間で連携しながら、国際交流・留学に関するイベントの実施や、広報活動を予定しています。
コロナ禍において、様々な活動が制限されるなか、学生がひとつとなり、活動を始めています。
今後は、月に一回の全体ミーティングを通して、「よりよい企画書作成」「目的・目標設定」「相手との関係構築」「傾聴力」などをテーマに、チームとしての在り方を見つめていきます。
